A fellow student asked if I would help with a fashion show organised by the events company Absolute Events in which was a fashion show showcasing three local fashion designers spring/summer collections. This was a great experience to work under an established events company in which they had a specific brief for the make-up. The designers wanted silver lips to be the main focal point, along with heavy contouring and dark smokey eyes in which needed to be vivid under studio lighting. There were four hair stylists and four make-up artists with twelve models in which needed make-up changes within half an hour. This experience helped advance employability skills by:
. Working as a team
. Working under strict time calls
. Working under health and safety regulations
. Applying make-up for a specific brief
